Mookaite aka Moukaite Jasper.
Mookaite is a truly stunning stone with earthy hues of reds, yellows and purples. It’s formed from the microscopic remains of tiny radiolarians which in turn create the sedimentary rock structure that forms Mookaite crystal. This fascinating process occurs in only one place in the world, within the Western Australia.
Mookaite is comprised of chert, opalite, chalcedony, or combinations of all three. It belongs to the Jasper family and shows off its beauty with unrivalled bold elegance.

Mookaite is quite a sturdy stone and made of hard stuff once it’s been polished, dried and treated. To clean the crystal you can use a soft-bristled brush or a soft cloth. Feel free to run it under water, but don’t soak the stone for too long.
To cleanse Mookaite crystal of any negative or dark energy, simply place it in the sun for a day. It loves the sun and will allow the sun’s healing rays to clear anything that doesn’t serve the stone or it’s owner the highest good.
